While learning something about sports betting, it is essential to compile betting odds to probabilities and probabilities to betting odds.
For the decimal betting odds this is really simple.
To calculate the probability behind a betting odd, you just devide 1 by the betting odd.
So a odd of 2 represents a probability of 50%.
Example:
Odd: 1.85
Probability = 1 / 1.85 = 0,54
And of course to get the betting odd for a given probability, it is just the other way around. 😉
